Playing to my strength at DisruptHR Brisbane 2018

It’s really interesting when I look deeply into different people’s personalities and see what their strengths are.

Just recently, I have been working really closely with my mentor Sonia McDonald on ways to build my business and really target my niche audience.

I am very passionate about helping a whole range of people, from new school leavers to executives with different learning styles learn leadership differently and help them gain the confidence to be the best leader they can be with the awesome strengths they already have.

As part of leadership, it’s vital that we are continually learning new skills or finding new ways to better ourselves.

Working with Sonia, I felt I was lacking in certain areas of leadership and decided to take her Leadership Attitude Coaching Course and it has been amazing how many great new skills I have learned and how I can implement these skills into helping people with different learning styles.

I know that having struggled with dyslexia my whole life there has definitely been times of self-doubt and worthlessness, but when you look at your struggles differently it opens your mind to a world of endless opportunities.

That’s why it’s so important that leaders who lead employees who may have a different learning style, can get a better understanding of what their strengths are and find out how they can maximize their efforts in the working environment.

It’s also really important that as leaders we are helping people continually build on their strengths and support them to be the best they can be.

By focusing on the strengths of people with a different learning style, we are proving to them that they are really great at what they do while boosting their confidence, morale, and self-esteem.
